Frustrated, having tried every diet under the sun. You know they’re restrictive yet you still blame yourself and your lack of motivation and willpower for the after dinner snacks and short lived results. 

Think about food 24/7. After years of dieting, you’re not sure what to eat anymore. You find yourself feeling guilty after a chocolate bar or worrying about a meal out. It’s exhausting!

Blaming yourself. You know what to do, but you can’t quite seem to do it. You’re a high achiever and have high standards yet struggle with consistency when it comes to you and your health.

This is more than just weight loss. You’re fed up of restrictive diets and want to learn how to nourish your body instead. You want to lose weight while becoming the healthiest, most confident & most energetic version of you.

You’re not alone. Traditional diets fail 80-95% of the time.

The problem is that they’re restrictive and unsustainable. Nobody can count every calorie or weight every morsel of food.

The “Eat less and move more” advice isn’t a realistic approach when you have a busy stressful schedule with demands at work and home.

Traditional weight loss approaches focus solely on food and overlook the root cause which is why crave and eat sugary snacks.

Losing weight sustainably means looking at the whole person and helping them build sustainable healthy habits rather than just telling them what to eat. 

This means addressing stress, sleep, energy, mood and relationships as well as food and exercise.

Hey, I get it. I’ve been there too.

Back in 2013 when working as a junior Doctor I was stressed out, exhausted and short on time. 

I found myself seeking comfort in chocolate and ice cream after a long shift at the hospital.

Desperate to fix this, I studied Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine to better understand the relationship between stress, fatigue and comfort eating.

In 2018 I qualified as an NHS General Practitioner but felt I was doing my patients a disservice in a 10 minute appointment where instead of treating the root cause with lifestyle changes, I’d give them a pill to ease their symptoms.

If type 2 diabetes can be prevented by lifestyle changes then why are the numbers growing?

And if obesity is linked to many other health concerns, why isn’t healthcare proactive and preventative by everything at once, helping our patients live longer, improve their quality of life and reduce the need for medications? 

I wanted to help my patients get healthier and treat the root cause of their symptoms.

So I left the NHS and traditional healthcare for good.

I took the leap to follow my passion and help women treat the root cause of their weight gain, energy and stress concerns.

In 2022 I shared my story on the TEDx stage.

If she’s confident that coaching at Nourish is a good fit, she’ll make a recommendation as to what program, support and duration would be best for you.

Hi, I’m Dr Aileen, Medical Doctor, Women’s Weight Loss Expert, TEDx speaker and former NHS GP. 

Over the last 7 years I’ve helped hundreds of women to diagnose and treat the root cause of weight gain even when they’ve failed at others things before.
I’m a wife and step mum of 2. I enjoy walking in the highlands, long slow lunches, ice cold pinot grigio and dark chocolate that’s been kept in the fridge!

I accidentally fell into the work I do now after nearly burning out and finding myself seeking comfort in chocolate bars and ice cream.

Fast forward 10 years, and I walked away from the NHS and traditional healthcare, built a successful business, and performed a TEDx talk in 2022 to share my story and discoveries.

  • The Nourish Method has been specifically designed for professional women who want to get healthy, have more energy, improve their self-confidence, lose weight and manage stress. Typically the women we work with are aged 40-55.

  • You’re not alone. Most of our ladies have dieted for at least 5-10 years, some since childhood. When women come here to coach, they’ve usually exhausted other efforts, OR they realise that cookie-cutter approaches are restrictive, unhealthy and unsustainable.

    The women we work with are looking for high-level expert advice, support & accountability.

    They understand that there is more to losing weight than counting calories or cutting carbs. They value their health, and they’re no longer willing to compromise on it to lose weight.

    We pride ourselves in providing a red-carpet service with high-level personalised support and science-backed education which covers all aspects of health, including sleep, stress, nutrition, diet, exercise, relationships, mood and more.

    In short, we diagnose and treat the root cause of weight gain and educate & equip our ladies with the skills, tools and habits so that they can make the lasting lifestyle changes they desire and never need to diet ever again.

    In private coaching, you’ll have unlimited access to Dr Aileen by booking a 1:1 call or messaging her on the phone app.

    Dr Aileen does take time off at weekends, but any questions would be responded to on a Monday.

    There’s also a VIP members community where you can access Raeleen Thomson, our Mindset Coach, AND you’ll be connected with other like-minded women who are on the same journey.

    You’ll also be invited to 6 x group coaching sessions. These usually take place on a Tuesday evening at 7pm.

    Finally, our Customer Concierge Louise Carmen will be there to support you throughout.

    We have all bases covered, but it’s up to you to choose what level of support feels best for you because every client is different.

  • At week 8 of coaching, you’ll be invited to book a Reflection Call. This is an opportunity to celebrate your progress (because, as women, we often overlook our own wins!) and to re-evaluate your goals.

    When women come into coaching, all the fear and doubt is eliminated within the first 1-2 weeks. This opens up new opportunities and excitement for what’s possible.

    Some women choose to enrol in further coaching programs such as Mindset for Weight Loss or Level 10 Living. This is absolutely not mandatory and not always recommended. It’s important to assess this on a case-by-case basis and to support you with all of the information so that you can make a fully educated decision about your next steps.

  • On average, your commitment will be 1 hour per week. This is split into 2 x 30-minute blocks of time.

    Over the last 6+ years, Dr Aileen has refined the coaching process so closely to ensure that your time is well spent.

    The bespoke coaching curriculum with high touch points fast tracks the entire process because you’re only being given support, feedback and education that is specific to your individual situation.

  • It’s absolutely crucial that we’re confident we can help you before we offer you the opportunity to coach here.

    Bringing in a client who isn’t ready for change OR who isn’t a good fit for what we offer feels awful for EVERYONE involved.

    We want what’s best for our clients. If we’re not confident we can help you, we won't invite you into coaching, and instead, with consent, we will refer you to another practitioner.

    Dr Aileen used to work as an NHS GP, and that’s one of the reasons she left medicine for good. She wanted to help people transform their lives, health and well-being. This couldn’t be achieved for each and every patient in the NHS.

  • It’s normal to be scared. This is the biggest fear of every woman who enrols in coaching. You’ve probably never heard of or tried anything like this before, so it’s difficult to know what to expect until you’re inside.

    Our application process and in-depth Diet & Lifestyle Consultation aid us in identifying exactly what we’re looking for in our clients before. That means we fully understand each and every client's goals, challenges and struggles before we invite them into coaching.

    Dr Aileen personally reviews each and every application and carries out primary consultations to ensure that we only bring women in who are a good fit and who are ready to change.

    Just because you’ve failed at other things before, or been dieting for 30+ years OR feel scared it wont work DOES NOT mean you won't get results.

    In fact, most of the ladies we support feel all of those things.

    Enrolling into health, lifestyle & well-being coaching is a life-changing experience. It’s about putting your health first, taking a leap of faith and learning along the way.

    We see this time and time again. Once you are 1-2 weeks into coaching, the fear will melt away, and the pride and excitement will begin to take it’s place!

  • The group call times are currently alternate Tuesdays at 19:00 GMT.

    These are held by either Dr Aileen or Raeleen Thomson (our expert in house Mindset Coach) alternately and cover various topics from mindfulness to socialising while on a weight loss journey.

  • No, these calls are complimentary. The reason being is that we don’t know if we can help you until we’ve had a conversation.

  • Diet & Lifestyle Consultations typically last for 60 minutes. Dr Aileen likes to have the time to really understand everything in detail and give women the time and space they need.
